The Kop van Wijk aan Zee is a meeting place for artists and art lovers in Wijk aan Zee, which is kept alive by the board and members of the Collective. The Collective is formed by artists who regularly hold exhibitions, offer artworks (and more) for sale and give workshops. Take a look at this lively, accessible gallery and art meeting place!
The Lucasgilde has existed since 1947 and is an association of amateur visual artists. Completely relaxed and in your own creative way you can work under the guidance of professional artists. We have our studios in the Center for the Arts Beverwijk, above the library.
All drawing and painting materials can be used. You will receive guidance in the use of all visual elements, such as Structure, Texture, Composition, Light/Shadow, Color and Shape.
An opportunity for all those who have been hesitating for a long time to become active in drawing and/or painting.
Workshops are also regularly given.
